How UK HGV PRO is Addressing the Ongoing HGV Driver Shortage
The UK logistics sector has long been the backbone of our economy, ensuring that goods move seamlessly from manufacturers to consumers. However, the industry has faced significant challenges in recent years, notably the persistent shortage of qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) drivers. Despite efforts to mitigate this issue, the shortage remains a pressing concern, with estimates suggesting a shortfall of approximately 70,000 to 80,000 drivers as we enter 2025.
